SafeSchools Compliance Training
LCSD1 has recently contracted with Scenario Learning to use their SafeSchools compliance training software.  The GCN system has been disabled.  Any trainings that were taken on GCN since July 1, 2015, will be documented on the new SafeSchools system when it is up and running.

Our goal with the new SafeSchools system is to make it easier to deliver and document training for every employee in LCSD1.  The new software will allow us to enroll staff in mandatory courses such as sexual harassment prevention, bloodborne pathogens, and hazardous communication as well as to create custom courses and link to videos or policies.

The system is expected to be functional by the end of the month.  When it is up and running, employees will receive an e-mail notification through the SafeSchools system that tells them what trainings they need to take and when they need to have them completed by.

Our office will update you on the status of the implementation process as more information becomes available.
